What will I learn?

If you are interested in the health industry and need the foundations to commence your career, this course will provide you with a sound knowledge on the human body and health, as well as the study skills to support further learning.During your course you will study how to interpret and apply medical terminology, learn about human anatomy and physiology, gain knowledge on the fundamental principles of microbiology used in health settings and learn how to use mathematics in a nursing and health context.Upon successful completion of this course, you will meet the academic entry requirements for further study in the health area including HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing or any health-related degrees at university level.
