What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Business blends foundational business studies with contemporary theory in the fields of either Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance or Strategic Planning and current industry practice. The course provides educational and professional qualification requirements needed to prepare students for general and specialist careers in their chosen fields. By completing either a minor study or pursuing electives of their choice, students obtain the opportunity to complement their qualification in an additional Business or non-Business area and enhance their career choice pathways.The Bachelor of Business aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, skilled, and highly capable in their fields to be work-ready. Students will have a strong sense of their own abilities be confident, resilient, self-reliant, and able to address unforeseen and new challenges in todays ever-changing workplace.

Entry requirements

For international students

A completed High School Certificate (or equivalent) with minimum ATAR required (including adjustment factors)
OR
Successful completion of at least two Bachelor degree level subjects (or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent) or higher in any discipline
OR
A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate III or higher, studied at a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or equivalent
OR
A completed Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC) or bridging program studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University, or equivalent
OR
Partial completion of a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma, of at least 50% from a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or equivalent
OR
Work experience of at least two years full time equivalence duration with some elements of management or supervision demonstrated by a detailed resume
OR
Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) with an equivalent ranking to the currently listed ATAR.

English language requirements

providing evidence of having completed a sufficient standard of study in English

for undergraduate courses have obtained an Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:

a minimum overall score of 6.0
no individual score below 5.5

for postgraduate coursework courses have obtained an Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:

a minimum overall score of 6.0
no individual score below 6.0

for higher degree by research courses have obtained at Academic IELTS within the last 2 years with:

a minimum overall score of 6.5
no individual score below 6.0

obtaining a qualification deemed to be equivalent to Academic IELTS (and its minimum scores) by Charles Sturt.
