What will I learn?

Creative artists have a strong role to play in social assistance industries, which assist people in the community to be healthy and productive. Get prepared by studying the Bachelor of Creative Arts and Community Wellbeing (Music) at UniSQ. This degree will expand your creativity, facilitation and leadership skills, as well as your understanding of the needs of community care and development. Study digital composition, song writing, recording and music production, and collaborative music practice along with foundational human services courses. Youll have the opportunity to undertake a project placement in a community organisation during your third year of coursework.Graduates will have the necessary skills to collaborate with health providers, local governments, and community organisations and undertake arts-led service initiatives. Work in the creative industries and apply your talents and abilities in other areas like community services (youth, indigenous, aged, refugee, homeless, unemployed, disability etc.), hospitals/allied health, correctional services, local government, and charity organisations.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicant must have Australian year 12 level or equivalent.

Students from different country must have qualifications equivalent to Australia.

English language requirements

IELTS (Academic only) - Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL (internet based) - Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19; Pearson (PTE Academic) - Overall score of 50 and no individual Communicative Skills score of less than 50; Cambridge C1 Advanced C2 Proficiency - Overall minimum score of 169 with no less than 162 in each skill.
