What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) is a one-year program where you'll learn how to plan and write a thesis that addresses a specific research question or a health-related topic. You'll have an opportunity to make a significant contribution to health services and establish your professional reputation. Through your research, you'll push the boundaries of the discipline and develop your independence, self-reliance and skills in critical and analytical thinking, writing and problem-solving. You'll work closely with internationally respected researchers and academics and learn how to identify, analyse and synthesise relevant scientific literature, along with gaining an understanding of the variety of research methods used in health research. You'll graduate with a respected honours qualification, with developed knowledge and skills that will set you apart in the jobs market, prove your leadership material, and provide a pathway to future research or learning. If you excel, you can further your research ambitions and enrol in a Master of Philosophy or PhD program, where you'll continue to develop your skills and make a significant contribution to knowledge.
