What will I learn?

Choose a major that aligns with your career goals and interests, whether that is general practice, occupational therapy, physiotherapy or speech pathology. You'll gain specialist knowledge and technical skills in designing, managing and evaluating rehabilitation plans applicable to a variety of health contexts.

What to expect

Build on your professional expertise to extend your knowledge and skills in rehabilitation. This six-month full-time (or equivalent part-time) external course is designed for health professionals who want to enhance their current qualifications and take the next step in their career.

Expand your knowledge and skills to design, manage, and evaluate rehabilitation plans for individuals and communities in culturally diverse populations. You will learn to develop solutions for complex problems in health professional practice.

With a focus on tropical, rural, remote and Indigenous communities, you will complete one core subject and select one of four majors (outlined below). View the handbook for a detailed overview of available subjects.
