UNSWs Master of Architecture/Master of Property and Development is a postgraduate double degree that combines a professional education in the practice and theory of architecture with a commercial understanding of how buildings are developed and managed.
After completing this dual degree, youll be able to follow the AACA pathways to becoming a registered architect (following time working in a professional setting and the Architectural Practice Examination – APE). Youll also learn modern principles of property investment, development and management and lead the way in addressing challenges in the built environment, such as climate change, health and wellbeing.

You will need to have completed a nationally accredited undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in architecture with grades at a consistent credit level (65 WAM) or higher. If you don't meet the entry requirements, you may be able to demonstrate work experience combined with undergraduate studies in architecture instead.
If you study the UNSW Bachelor of Interior Architecture (Honours) you can be eligible for the Master of Architecture if you undertake the architecture elective pathway and achieve an overall WAM of 65. However, if you've never studied architecture at a tertiary level, you should consider applying for the Bachelor of Architectural Studies.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL IBT (Internet Based): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); Pearson (PTE - Academic): 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); C1 Advanced Cambridge: 176 overall (min. 169 in each subtest); C2 Proficiency Cambridge: 180 overall (min. 180 in each subtest); UNSW Global University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
