This online micro-credential outlines the role of fitness specialist in the rehabilitation process when dealing with clients with medical conditions or injured clients utilising a team approach. The course outlines the process for developing networks with professional health providers such as physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors and General Practitioners in the referral process for clients, gaining client consent and providing medicolegal reports in the Australian context.

Career Opportunities
Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, a non-creditable micro-credential (Digital Badge) and a Certificate of Completion.
If you are a Registered Exercise Professional with AUSactive as a Group Exercise/Gym Instructor or greater, you will also be eligible to attain AUSactive CECs on the successful completion of this course.
This is an AusActive Accredited micro-credential. To gain your CEC's you will be required to upload your certificate into your CEC diary on your AUSactive account and select your approved course for AUSactive to verify.
