About this course

What will I learn?

The Post-Graduate Qualifying Program – IT (Stage 1) will develop the academic knowledge, skills and English Language Proficiency (ELP) for entry into the PQP semester and therefore Masters degrees at ECU. The Post-Graduate Qualifying Program – IT (Stage 2) will equip students with the knowledge, skills and English Language Proficiency (ELP) for entry into masters degrees in the School of Science (Computing and Security) at ECU.

Post-Graduate Qualifying Program

  • Equivalent to an Australian Associate Degree
  • IELTS (Academic) - 6.0 with no band less than 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT - 64 (R13 L12 S18 W21)
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) - 52 with no score less than 50
  • Phoenix English Proficiency Test (iPEPT) - B2+ (no component)
  • Language Links - English for IELTS and Academic Purposes - Upper Intermediate Level (Grade B)
  • Perth International College of English (PICE) - Level 7
  • Phoenix Academy - AEP ≥ CEFR B2+ / PEPT 60%
