The University of Adelaide College was the first education provider in Australia to offer a postgraduate pathway course to a Group of Eight university. We developed these specialised Pre-Masters Programs in close collaboration with the University of Adelaide, so you can follow your path to a range of masters degrees.
Students who successfully complete their Pre-Master's Program will now have the opportunity to progress into Adelaide University if they start their postgraduate studies after 1 January 2026. Until then, they will still be able to progress into their chosen degree at the University of Adelaide.
Program benefits
Upon successful completion of your Pre-Masters Program, you are guaranteed entry into your packaged postgraduate degree at the University of Adelaide or Adelaide University depending on your Pre-Masters Program completion date.
All credit-bearing courses are the Universitys syllabus, and once successfully completed, you will receive credit for these courses and enjoy guaranteed entry into your packaged masters degree.
Youll have the flexibility of studying a Pre-Masters Program in one to three study periods. Students enrolled in the trimester-based masters destinations will study three University courses, while students enrolled in the semester-based masters destinations will study four University courses.
