Astrophysics:
You will explore the current state of knowledge in astrophysics, examine new and emerging theories, and utilize modern techniques to analyze and solve problems in astronomy and astrophysics. Students in the Astrophysics specialization develop extensive knowledge in physics and math, as well as strong analytical and computational skills. This specialization will prepare you for graduate work and a wide variety of career options in astronomy and physics.
Nanotechnology and Clean Energy:
This specialization is designed to meet the urgent demand for graduates with the knowledge and skills to address global issues of escalating energy consumption and declining resources. It emphasizes alternative and conventional energy, with a particular focus on the application of nanotechnology to developing clean energy solutions.
Science and Management:
If you are interested in managerial and leadership roles, consider applying for the five-year Bachelor of Science and Management (Honours) program in your upper years of study. Graduates gain a solid foundation in the key functional areas of business and management, including finance, accounting, operations, project management and marketing.
There is a wealth of opportunities for science graduates in industry, government, and in areas of applied science. The combination of a science degree and business and management education will give an added advantage to graduates in establishing careers within these practical fields.

TOEFL: Internet-based test (iBT) with a total score of 83 (Education and Nursing programs require a total score of 87), and minimum scaled scores of Listening: 20; Reading: 20; Speaking: 19; and Writing: 20
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Minimum score of 58.
Cambridge English - Advanced: Minimum score of 180 with no band lower than 170.
