What will I learn?

The General Arts and Science Diploma - Liberal Arts Stream includes four semesters (two years of full-time study) designed to introduce students to core subjects within the Liberal Arts. Subject areas include Indigenous Studies, Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology.

The program is also designed to support students as they develop critical literacies, digital literacies, and academic research and writing skills. Learners work with an Educational Planner to select several Elective and General Education course options to further develop their knowledge, skills, and interests in support of individual academic and career goals.

Students can study part-time or full-time. A variety of delivery modes are available.

Entry requirements

For international students

For graduates of the new curriculum (OSS): Ontario Secondary School Diploma (30 credits) or equivalent or mature student status, including:

  • Any grade 12 English (C) or (U)

English language requirements:

IELTS 6.0 (no band under 5.5), TOEFL 550 (paper based test) 80 (internet based test) and PTE (Pearson) 58, CAEL 60 (no band below 50)
