What will I learn?

Students admitted to the scheme study the common curriculum for the first two years. They must select any one of the two honours degree awards no later than the end of the second semester of Year 2.
The credit requirements of this scheme are indicative only. They are subject to review.
Scholarships are available for students with outstanding academic performance. PolyU reserves the right to change or withdraw the scholarships at any time. In case of any dispute or disagreement, PolyU’s decision is final.
Students will be awarded one of the following awards upon successful completion of the graduation requirements of the programme concerned:

  • BSc (Hons) in Logistics Engineering with Management
  • BSc (Hons) in Enterprise Engineering with Management

Students are allowed to enroll on any awards without being subject to further assessment.

The option of Secondary Major in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics is available to the students of BSc (Hons) in Logistics Engineering (a variant of BSc(Hons) in Logistics Engineering with Management). Admission to Secondary Major is on competitive basis and subject to a different credit requirement for graduation.

Two full-time programmes are offered under this scheme:

  • BSc (Hons) in Logistics Engineering with Management (BSc LEM)
  • BSc (Hons) in Enterprise Engineering with Management (BSc EEM)

Managing logistics is an interesting and complex task. It involves the effective management of materials, information, and finance in a network of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers.

Enterprises are industrial and commercial organisations that shape the modern economy. This programme aims to provide students with a body of knowledge, principles, and skills that are related to the analysis, design, implementation, and operation of the critical elements associated with the effective operation of modern enterprises. To be successful in today’s highly competitive global business environment, an enterprise must be willing to undertake new activities and able to continuously optimise its operations.

Career Prospects

Graduates typically become management trainees, logistics engineers, distribution analysts/officers, logistics analysts, logistics officials in government offices, business executives/analysts, system analysts/designers, or young entrepreneurs. Moreover, a wide range of employment opportunities are available in industry settings, business, services, and the government. Most graduates are promoted to managerial positions after a few years of work experience.

Similar to other business and management programmes, the Enterprise Engineering with Management programmes equips students with generic understanding and know-how applicable to enterprises and organisations in various sectors. A wide range of employment opportunities suitable for our graduates are available in industry settings, business, services, and the government sector. Most graduates are promoted to managerial positions after a few years of work experience.

Entry requirements

For international students

GCE A-level / International A-level: Grade B or above in 3 GCE A-Level / International A-Level subjects

International Baccalaureate (IB): IB Diploma with a total of 32 points or above out of 45

Applicants with good results in GCE A-level / International A-level or International Baccalaureate (IB) can be granted up to 25% credit transfer upon admission to the 4-year degree curriculum.

English Language Requirements

  • TOEFL: A score of 80 or above in the Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-based test (TOEFL iBT), in one sitting
  • IELTS: An overall band score of 6.0 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic Module
  • GCE / International AS or A-Level: Grade E or above in English/ English Language/ English Literature
  • GCE O-Level/ GCSE/ IGCSE: Grade C / Grade 4 or above in English / English Language / English Literature
  • Cambridge English Language Assessment: Grade C /Level C1 / 180 or above in Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
  • SAT: A score of 590 or above in Evidence-based Reading and Writing
  • ACT: A score of 23 or above in both English and Reading (in one sitting)
  • Advanced Placement (AP): A score of 4 or above in English Language and Composition; or A score of 4 or above in English Literature and Composition
