Department of Mathematical Science at TAR UC offers research programme leading to MSc degree for students who wish to excel in their academic excellence. Entry requirements

For international students

  • A Bachelor's Degree (MQF, Level 6) in a Mathematics related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent as accepted by TAR UC Senate; OR
  • A Bachelor's Degree (MQF, Level 6) in a Mathematics related field with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; OR
  • A Bachelor's Degree (MQF, Level 6) in a Mathematics related field not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in relevant field; OR
  • A Bachelor's Degree (MQF, Level 6) in a non-Mathematics related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the TAR UC Senate, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.

English Language Requirements

  • IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1, or TOEFL iBT 40 or equivalent; OR
  • Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
