This specialty is designed for students who want to work as an early childhood teacher in an early childhood centre. Youll develop your understanding of early childhood education and the early childhood teaching national curriculum, Te Whariki. If you want to specialise in working with Pacific children, you can complete your practicum courses at a Pacific ECE centre, and study courses that develop your skills to be an effective early childhood teacher working with Pacific children.
