What will I learn?

This degree focuses on the communities most affected by the criminal justice system including MÄori, Pacific and other vulnerable communities. Be an agent for change in our criminal justice system with AUT's Master of Criminology and Criminal Justice. The Master of Criminology and Criminal Justice considers how colonisation has influenced the criminal justice system as well as how communities have responded. It covers how ethnicities, class, gender and age interact with the criminal justice system, with a particular focus on children and youth crime. Study social sciences and public policy, and develop a strong foundation for meaningful careers where you can really make a difference and help to make the world a better place for all. Our interactive classes make it easy for you to get to know your classmates, and you could collaborate with community or industry organisations on projects or during your workplace experience.
