The MProfStuds is a masters degree with a professional focus. It can be a useful way to continue your postgraduate study if you already have a masters degree. Specialisations available: Data Science, Digital Security, Education, Food Safety, Mathematics Education. Completing an MProfStuds can make you readily identifiable as holding the skills to participate in your chosen field and contribute to its advancement. The Master of Professional Studies in Education will be of special interest to teachers with three years of teaching experience who hold either a Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary, Primary or Early Childhood Education) or a Bachelor of Physical Education (four-year degree) as it allows you to go from these qualifications directly to study at Masters level. Entry requirements

For international students

In order to be admitted to the Education specialisation in the Master of Professional Studies programme, you need to have completed the requirements for either:

a four-year bachelors degree

or

a bachelors (honours) degree

or

a bachelors degree and a professional qualification in Education equivalent to one years advanced study.

In addition, you must have at least three years of teaching experience.

Note that some courses have prerequisites.

IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5; Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): Overall score of 90 and written score of 21; Paper-based TOEFL: Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): Overall score of 176 and no bands below 169; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58 and no PTE Communicative score below 50; Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP): Grade of B-; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 85.
