Our BSc Building Surveying with International Foundation Year course is designed to prepare you for a successful career in building surveying. You will benefit from the Department's strong links with industry and the surveying profession.This programme is designed for international students. If you want to study building surveying at a British university but don鈥檛 have the correct qualifications, our four-year BSc Building Surveying with International Foundation Year programme enables you to undertake an undergraduate building surveying degree.You will complete a foundation year (called Year 0) before progressing onto our three-year BSc Building Surveying degree. This means you can apply for a single four-year visa that covers the whole duration of your studies.The foundation year is designed to equip you with the subject-specific and general study skills needed to cope with the demands of undergraduate study. Our high-quality teaching is geared towards the needs of students from a wide range of educational backgrounds.**Placements**You can carry out a paid industrial training placement, lasting a year or a shorter period. This experience not only provides you with an insight into industry, but is also a valuable opportunity to get to know a range of industry professionals.Placements can be located anywhere in the UK, and sometimes take place abroad.
