What will I learn?

Explore the relationship between drama and history, from discovering what it was like to go to the theatre in nineteenth century London, to unpicking the connection between empire and performance. Studying a variety of different cultures, historical periods and diverse societies, you’ll uncover hidden details about past events and explore them through dramatic works.
