What will I learn?

The BA (Hons) Fine Art course offers a broad-based experience of contemporary art practice so you can explore your ideas through studio work in your own studios. The Fine Art course trains you to work as creative practitioners as well as offering numerous transferable skills, which can be utilised in the creative industries and beyond. Well encourage you to create art which is experimental and innovative. Youll get the chance to experiment with traditional or new media, including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, animation, video, sound, performance, drawing and illustration. Our studios are large, open plan, purpose-built workspaces and youll be given your own space within them to work independently and free your creativity. Youll also have access to other specialist facilities including a digital media suite, drawing studio and wood, metal and plaster workshops. Well help you to develop your artistic skills to a professional level.
