On this stream of the MRes in Biomedical Research, you'll explore the hands-on manipulation of physiology and real-time pharmacological interventions used to safely manage patients in all parts of a hospital.
You'll study the fundamental principles of molecular mechanisms and advance your learning through lectures, seminars, tutorials and technical workshops.
Two five-month research projects will help develop key skills in communication, project design, and producing written and oral reports.

2:1 in an appropriate subject. All candidates must demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency for admission to the College. Students need to have IELTS – Academic (Test-Centre/UKVI SELT/Online) with 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all elements) for Standard level and 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all elements) for Higher level. TOEFL iBT with 92 overall (minimum 20 in all elements) for Standard and 100 overall (minimum 22 in all elements) for Higher level.
