Train in the design, analysis and assessment of concrete structures including bridges and buildings on this one-year Master's course.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students need to have a minimum requirement of 2.1 degree in civil engineering, natural sciences, earth sciences or a numerate discipline. A suitable grounding in mathematics is required, for example: A-level Mathematics grade A or B. Applicants who do not meet the academic requirements listed but who have substantial relevant industry experience may exceptionally be admitted following completion of a ‘Special Qualifying Exam’ (SQE). All candidates must demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency for admission to the College. Students need to have IELTS – Academic (Test-Centre/UKVI SELT/Online) with 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all elements) for Standard level and 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all elements) for Higher level. TOEFL iBT with 92 overall (minimum 20 in all elements) for Standard and 100 overall (minimum 22 in all elements) for Higher level.
