Modern healthcare is complex – and as a result, management and leadership in the health and social care sector is increasingly important worldwide. As an MSc Healthcare Management student at ARU, you'll explore the different factors – including social ones – that influence the way organisations and teams are managed and led. As it’s a distance learning course our students can come from around the world, bringing a truly international perspective. Our Masters in Healthcare Management let's you fit study around work or other commitments. While you may be learning remotely, you’ll still become a part of the postgraduate community at ARU and receive full support from our dedicated tutors.
How you'll be assessed
Your work is assessed in a number of ways for different modules; this can help you at a later stage when you’re developing submission evidence for management and leadership professional recognition. Assignments include reports, presentations and a portfolio.
Careers
As an MSc Healthcare Management student, you’ll gain an essential, all-round knowledge of health service management and leadership approaches. Of particular value is the ability to identify and develop health service corporate marketing strategies; and to address the need for and application of transformational change programmes. As a graduate, you could choose to pursue a career in public services or global non-governmental organisations.
