The Accelerated Bachelor’s-Master’s (ABM) BFA in Architecture to M.Arch program allows outstanding architecture undergraduates to begin the coursework for the Master of Architecture during their fourth year of undergraduate study.
Students are encouraged to begin planning to enter the Accelerated BFA-Arch/M.Arch program early in their undergraduate studies, in consultation with their departmental academic advisor. Working with the undergraduate adviser and the graduate director, undergraduates selected into this program begin a specific course of study that allows them to complete their BFA-Arch degree while they also begin the coursework toward their M.Arch. Up to 12 hours of graduate coursework may be applied to both the undergraduate and graduate programs. To apply, students must have a minimum 3.25 overall grade point average. Undergraduate students who are selected into the program must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.25 GPA each semester until completion of the BFA-Arch degree.
