This course is an overview of the music industry including song writing, live performance, industry practices, music merchandising, legal aspects, contracts and licenses, and career opportunities.

What can I do with this course of study?
Graduates are employed by concert venues, promotion agencies, record labels, label start-up, music festivals, sound design and engineering, and other media outlets that provide live musical performances to a private or public audience.
