If you’re interested in architecture, you should: Possess a creative streak, be disciplined and committed to your craft, Have an interest in design and architecture, be willing to dedicate 30-40 hours per week on drawing and design classes, and creating a portfolio. Accreditation: Broward College is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACS-COC) to award associate’s degrees. The Architecture program is a member of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).
Career Path: Graduates of the Architecture program have found work in various local architectural firms, city building departments and large companies with facilities planning departments. Aside from preparing you to be an architect, this program will also provide the groundwork for you to work as: An urban planner, a suburban planner, a building construction manager.
