Southern Utah University’s secondary education program is based on a thorough preparation in the liberal arts and sciences, professional studies, and in-specialty courses--all of which form a dynamic collaboration that combines theory, practice, content and skill. Art Education (30-33 Credits)

To qualify for a teaching license in Art Education, students must also complete an adapted sequence of professional education courses through the Department of Teacher Education. Some classes required for the licensure cannot be taken until the teacher candidate has been admitted to the College of Education and Human Development.
