What will I learn?

Both the B.S. and B.S.E.P. degrees offered by the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics can be part of a combined Bachelor of Science/Master of Science (B.S./M.S.) degree program. These are five year programs that, upon successful completion, results in the awarding of B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics or B.S.E.P. and M.S. degrees in engineering physics. Undergraduate students interested in this program must have completed at least 60 credit hours with a grade point average of at least 3.4 to apply. A typical schedule for a student in the 4+1 program may be obtained from the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics.
