What will I learn?

The B.A. in Studio Art degree prepares students for further studies or careers in the studio arts and arts-related fields including art therapy, illustration, arts administration, design, and art education.

The B.A. in Studio Art degree is available to students who are preparing for further studies or careers in the arts and arts-related fields, such as art education, graphic design, art therapy, illustration, botanical illustration and forensic illustration. Students work with their academic advisers to select courses from the USP and elective offerings to complement art studies in their areas of interest.

Based on their goals and career plans, students in consultation with a faculty adviser select the appropriate degree plan. Students major in studio art with areas of study in one or more of the following:

Drawing
Painting
Photography
Printmaking
Ceramics
Sculpture
Metalsmithing
Visual Communication Design

Entry requirements

A cumulative, unweighted high school GPA of 3.00-4.00 (on a 4.0 scale) for assured admission.

A cumulative, unweighted high school GPA of 2.50-2.99 (on a 4.0 scale) is admitted with support.

Provide Official Proof of English Proficiency

Minimum score 71 for iBT/ 6.0 IELTS / 169 Cambridge English B2 First, C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency / 100 Duolingo are the most popular exam options and results required.
