Students seeking their Bachelor of Music in Performance with a Saxophone emphasis have exciting opportunities to perform in the Fred Fox School of Music's many ensembles. After auditioning for placement, undergraduate instrumentalists progress from the wind symphony and philharmonic to the wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, and chamber winds. In addition to participating in large, conducted ensembles, Performance majors take core classes in music literature, music history, pedagogy, orchestration, conducting, piano and applied lessons.
