What will I learn?

The Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Education degree curriculum is organized to meet the needs of persons with different work experience backgrounds.

Technical Teacher Education & Technology and Engineering Education curriculum are designed to provide specialized teacher education for persons teaching or preparing to teach in pre-engineering, technology, trade and industrial, and/or technical related programs.

Credit of up to 24 semester hours is granted on an individual basis in the two options based on occupational competency.

Emphases available: Technology and Engineering Education , Technical Teacher Education.

Entry requirements

For international students

High School Academic Records: A minimum GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in high school and have earned a high school diploma

International College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post-secondary institution (college/university)

U.S. College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) if transferring from an accredited U.S. college with at least 24 credit hours (approximately one year of college work)

English Language Requirement

TOEFL score of at least 68 (iBT) is required. In addition, a minimum score of 15 is required in each section (internet).

IELTS: Overall score of 6.0 with a minimum score of 5.0. in each band of the IELTS is required. If a lower score is earned in any of the five band scores, the overall score cannot be accepted.

PTE: Overall score of 47.

Application Deadline: Fall Semester – June 1st, Spring Semester – October 15th.
