What will I learn?

On campus living is currently optional, but quarantine seems to have made this year’s freshman class less ready for off campus living. We want to make sure that they have a support system in place, which they will have in the dorms.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is offered in both a traditional full-time path and in an accelerated path. The traditional program requires 120-credit hours, including two years of general education requirements and two years of clinical courses. The accelerated program is designed for qualified individuals who hold earned Bachelor’s degrees in non-nursing fields, or outstanding students who have completed all prescribed general education and science course work, and allows students to complete their courses in just 12 months.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing, RN-BSN program is designed for students who already have an RN license and is offered 100% online. Coursework can be completed in five semesters, taking 1-2 courses per semester.

Outcomes and Career Outlook

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be well-prepared to take the Professional Registered Nurse licensure examination (NCLEX). Nursing courses include theory and clinical experiences. Practice in the nursing arts laboratory, experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, acute care and community nursing prepares students for success in diverse

practice settings.
