What will I learn?

Our Dual-Degree BS in Radiologic Sciences/MHS in Advanced Medical Imaging and Leadership (3+1) program not only advances your knowledge within the radiologic field and specialty, but prepares you to take on various health care leadership roles by delving into such crucial subjects as health policy and health administration.

The Dual-Degree BS in Radiologic Sciences/MHS in Advanced Medical Imaging and Leadership (3+1) program gives you the opportunity to obtain both a bachelor’s and master’s degree, as well as certification in two radiographic modalities within 4years — a rare offering in higher education. The BS in Radiologic Sciences program, completed in 3 years, first develops technical and interpersonal communication skills through robust classroom, laboratory and clinical experiences. This provides maximum exposure to a range of radiographic techniques and imaging procedures, preparing you in both the art and science of radiography.

In your fourth year, you’ll move on to the Advanced Medical Imaging and Leadership program, a unique collaboration between the School of Health Sciences Department of Diagnostic Imaging and the School of Business Department of Health Care Management and Organizational Leadership. This integrated, interprofessional curriculum combines core business disciplines and guided health management courses with advanced imaging modalities in 3 distinct pathways: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) and women’s imaging (WI).

Leverage the value of an advanced degree

Entering the medical imaging field with a master’s degree will make you stand out from the competition. Our dual-degree program will enable you to create a seamless plan to complete your undergraduate and graduate studies. This unique approach eliminates the need to find another graduate program, take additional tests for admission or complete a separate admission process.

We've crafted the academic experience to ensure that your undergraduate and graduate courses are well planned and complementary. The program emphasizes the skills employers value — including leadership, critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
