The Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post-Masters Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate combined option provides a solid academic and practical foundation for master’s prepared nurses interested in a career as a legal nurse consultant.
Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate
The Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate is designed for nurses interested in assessing healthcare practices and standards from a legal perspective.
Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree
The Doctor of Nursing Practice Program is designed for nurses who hold a master’s degree in nursing or a related field and offers an educational pathway to earn the highest clinically focused doctoral degree in nursing. Upon completion of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program, students will possess forward-thinking clinical and systems leadership skills to promote the application of evidence-based practice to address the nation’s increasingly complex healthcare needs.

Post-Masters Legal Nurse Consultant Certificate Admission
A conferred bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
A conferred masters degree from an accredited institution.
A Current U.S. RN License
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Admission
A BSN degree, or a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, and entry-level MSN from a CCNE- or ACEN-accredited program.
A Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) and/ or Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in a health related discipline (i.e. MPH, MBA, MHA) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
A Valid U.S. RN Licensure
An APRN Licensure and an APRN National Board Certification
