The MSHROD curriculum is designed to prepare students to understand and apply new techniques for greater organizational effectiveness. The program may be pursued on a full- or part-time basis. Classes are held in the evenings at the College of Business, online or in hybrid format.

Identify, plan, implement, and manage change as staff professionals or managers or external consultants
Match organizational and human resource needs and implement systems related to structure, process, and most important, the people in organizations
Link human resource management and organizational development by implementing processes to improve organizational effectiveness

A four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution. In addition, a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program, is required for full admission. Applicants who do not meet minimum admission requirements may be considered for conditional admission.
