The program consists of 30 units. No more than six units are allowed in Directed Reading or Special Study or a combination of both. A student must perform satisfactorily in the first year of graduate study by maintaining a minimum grade of B in all courses taken toward the degree or be subject to dismissal. CR/NC units are not acceptable towards the degree. A graduate student in good standing must maintain a B (3.0) GPA throughout the course of study.

Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution, or shall have completed equivalent academic preparation as determined by the appropriate campus authority.
Have a 3.0 GPA in their earned undergraduate degree or in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units completed, or have earned a post-baccalaureate degree.
Minimum TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 6.5 or PTE 55; some majors require higher scores
The deadline for early admission is January 15th. Those submitting by this deadline will have an admission decision before March 15th.
