Other eligibility requirements

The Scholarship is open to all international onshore and offshore students who are commencing with VU Brisbane and who meet the entry requirements. 

Value: Annual value of AUD $11,000 (and divided into 8 units) for the first year of study, and AUD $11,000 per year thereafter if you maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Eligibility: All new students commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) course (including ELSIS EAP packages) with VU Brisbane are eligible.

• Students must pay the required tuition fee deposit to accept their offer. The remaining balance is due before the course start date.
• Students who have received a scholarship or sponsorship from another organisation for their VU course are not eligible for this scholarship.
• Students with approval to reduce their study load are eligible to receive a reduced scholarship, based on the number of units taken (pro-rata).
• Students returning from approved Leave of Absence are eligible to continue receiving the scholarship until the course end date in their letter of offer.
• New students receiving advanced standing for previous studies are eligible for the Pathway to Success Scholarship for the remaining standard duration of eligible courses.
• Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress in their first year of the course for the scholarship to be maintained in their second year of study.
• Students will continue to remain eligible to receive the Pathway to Success Scholarship for their approved study duration, providing the student pays all tuition and additional fees/costs in full by the payment due date of each study period, and meets the conditions of their student visa
