Eligibility & selection criteria:

recipients must be full-time graduate students registered in the Faculty of Arts
selection is to be based on scholastic excellence (minimum 80% average)
The goal is that this scholarship be given in conjunction with major external awards that require a matching or enhancement component. For example, the scholarship could be used to match or enhance an Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) or Queen Elizabeth II - Graduate Scholarship in Science & Technology (QEII-GSST) as long as these programs are in effect.
If the match or enhancement becomes unavailable, or if a suitable recipient cannot be found, the funds will be paid out as a regular graduate scholarship.
The Faculty of Arts will identify candidates and select recipients (normally each Spring)
