Students are required to have a 3.5 or greater to be eligible.
The scholarship will be offered on a rotational basis among the departments of: Sociology, Psychology, and History and Classics Nominee must demonstrate substantial social science or humanities research promise and an interest in further developing their research skills.
Preference will be given to students with research interests in the area of human rights, persons with disabilities, or social well-being.
At the end of the academic year, recipients are required to submit a report to the graduate awards committee of the Dept in which they are studying describing how this scholarship has enhanced their research.
