Other eligibility requirements

Criteria

To be considered for this award, student(s) must:

• Be a full-time student majoring or minoring in Sociology or enrolled in the Sociology Honours program;
• Be the sole author of the submitted paper (papers co-authored with other students or faculty members are not eligible);
• Student papers from the last two academic years are eligible for the competition;
• Detailed report specifications are available to students through the Department of Sociology's award posting.

Students are required to agree to the Adjudication Process as set out in the Sociology Department's detailed posting, and by completing an Adjudication Process Agreement form that is available through the student portal. The completed form must accompany the student's paper.

Disbursement Criteria

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
