Graduate student registered full-time in the doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering.
Selection to be based on academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average or equivalent in' their current or most recently completed graduate program).
Preference will be given to students joining the Molecular Beam Epitaxy Research Group followed by a student with demonstrated interest in human-factors engineering.
The Faculty of Engineering will identify candidates based on their application for admission.
Preference will be given to students who do not concurrently hold a major scholarship exceeding $3,000 per term.
This funding must be awarded in addition to the minimum funding the student may already be receiving.
The annual award will be paid in equal instalments each term.
A scholarship, valued at CAN $50,000 will be provided to one graduate student registered full-time in a doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering. The scholarship will be paid to the student annually in increments of CAN $10,000 each year for five years as long as they remain registered. Selection is based on academic excellence (minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent in their current or most recently completed graduate program) combined with an interest in molecular beam epitaxy or human-factors engineering. This fund is made possible by a donation from Maks Wulkan.
