Applicants must be enrolled, or intending to enrol, at the University in a programme for one of the following degrees:
a. BA(Hons) in Art History, Art Theory, or Fine Arts
b. BFA(Hons)
c. MA in Art History, Art Theory, or Fine Arts
d. MFA
e. PhD in Art History, Art Theory, or Fine Arts
Recipients of the scholarship who are studying for a PhD must be enrolled full-time.

If, in any year, there are fewer candidates of sufficient merit than there are scholarships available, fewer are awarded.
