To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

Be commencing year 1 in one of the following BSc (Hons) software engineering degrees:

BSc (Hons) Computer Games Application Development
BSc (Hons) Computer Games Technology
BSc (Hons) Computing
BSc (Hons) Ethical Hacking
BSc (Hons) Computer Science with Cybersecurity
BEng Civil and Environmental Engineering
BSc (Hons) Food and Consumer Science
BSc (Hons) Forensic Sciences
BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science

Identify as female
Be able to demonstrate a financial need for support in the application form
Be able to demonstrate a strong intent to have a career in software engineering when they graduate
Be willing to meet the award conditions set out in the guidance notes.

Applications will be selected based on how well the applicant demonstrates how the scholarship can help them achieve their ambitions to work in a software engineering-related career.  Other important factors include: Students who are first in their family to attend university;  have overcome challenging circumstances; are from a low-income background and/or are at risk of leaving their studies will benefit from the scholarship.
