The University is aware that caring may have financial implications with students experiencing higher travel costs and or find themselves less able to work part time to supplement their student finance awards.
A Carer is Someone who looks after a member of the family, partner or friend with a physical or sensory disability, learning disability, medical condition, mental health issues or someone addicted to drugs, alcohol or gambling.
To apply for the Carers Bursary, you can send us your evidence after you have registered for the academic year.
If you are carer who are paid a salary for your caring duties or are in receipt of Carers Allowance we regret that you are not eligible for this bursary.
