Chevening Scholarships are the UK government's fully funded global scholarship programme, sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK. Durham University is proud to partner with Chevening in 2025/26.
In addition to the Open Awards, the University have 10 Partnership Awards open to applicants from all Chevening eligible countries. Open & Partnership Awards: Applicants must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country, and intend to return there for a minimum of 2 years after your Chevening Award has finished.
