Other eligibility requirements

The Douglas Bomford Trust Scholarship is open to all BEng, MEng and BSc Engineering students studying at Harper Adams University, up to graduate level.

The objective of the Douglas Bomford Trust is to advance knowledge, understanding, practice, and competence in the application of engineering and technology to achieve sustainable agricultural, food and biological systems for the benefit of the environment and mankind.

The Douglas Bomford Trust Scholarship is primarily aimed at those students studying Agricultural Engineering; however, they have been known, by exception, to offer scholarships to other engineering courses as well.

The Trust may award up to five scholarships. The successful recipient(s) may be awarded funds individually based on merit typically up to a maximum value of 拢1,500 for one year only, although higher payments can be made in exceptional circumstances. The award will be payable to the successful recipient(s) in two equal parts
