Other eligibility requirements

University College Birmingham offers a special Early Payment Discount (EPD) for all new international students who pay their full tuition fees early (subject to eligibility criteria below).

International students entering the first year of a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University will receive a £500 discount on the cost of their tuition fees if these are paid in full prior to our EPD deadline. The fee discount will then be applied at your enrolment. 

The payment deadline will depend upon when your course is due to commence. For students starting in September, the deadline is 31 August. For students starting in February, the deadline is 31 January.

Eligibility criteria

• You must have received and accepted an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at University College Birmingham starting in the current or upcoming academic year – part-time courses, distance learning courses or other levels of study are not eligible.
• You must have overseas international student status and be paying overseas international rate tuition fees.
• You must have paid 100% of your tuition fees before the EPD deadline as specified above.
• This scholarship is available to students during the first year of study only.
