Other eligibility requirements

This bursary is available to applicants applying for entry in 2025/26. All applicants must have a conditional or unconditional offer to study on a taught Master’s programme at the UCL Division of Medicine. This award is open to both full-time and part-time applicants applying for the following programmes:

MSc Advanced Biomedical Imaging

MSc Clinical and Public Health Nutrition

MSc/MRes Clinical Drug Development

MSc/MRes Drug Design

MSc Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition

MSc Genetics and Multiomics in Medicine

MSc/MRes Human Tissue Repair

MSc Precision Medicine

MSc Respiratory Clinical Science

MSc Obesity and Clinical Nutrition

This bursary is not open to those holding offers for a postgraduate diploma, postgraduate certificate or short course. This bursary is also not open to those studying MSc Dietetics.

Responsibilities

The awardee of this bursary will become the Division of Medicine PGT Lead Departmental Representative for the academic year 2025/2026. This role holds the following roles and responsibilities:

Gather Feedback: Collect feedback from PGT students on various aspects of their academic experience, including teaching quality, assessment methods, and support services.

Represent Students: Act as the primary liaison between PGT students and the divisional administration, representing students' views at meetings and consultations. Co-host termly Student Partnership Committee meetings between students and staff.

Communicate Outcomes: Relay information back to the student body about decisions made, actions taken, and any changes implemented based on their feedback

Advocate for Change: Work with divisional and/or faculty staff to address any issues or concerns raised by students, advocating for improvements and solutions.

Organize Events: Help organize events and activities that enhance the PGT experience, such as workshops, social events, and networking opportunities.

Provide Support: Offer support and guidance to PGT students, helping them navigate university processes and access resources.

Collaborate with Other Representatives: Work closely with other student representatives, at the divisional and faculty level, to ensure a cohesive approach to student representation
