Other eligibility requirements

The BA International Honours Scholarship is available to students entering first year of the Bachelor of Arts International Honours Programme commencing at St Andrews and joint with the College of William and Mary. The Selection Committee seeks applicants who are gifted students with academic excellence. The successful scholars will be expected to fulfil an ambassadorial role and represent the University at a number of events and contribute to various University publications.

This scholarship is available for application via the BA International Honours Scholarship through the scholarships and funding catalogue in the Scholarships and Funding section of My application.

After you have applied to a new BA International Honours course beginning in the academic year 2025, you will be provided with login details for the My application portal. You must allow at least two working days for processing and issue of your log in details before you can apply for this scholarship.

Application requirements

    You will be required to provide a statement of motivation in support of your application (recommended not more than 250 words).This should include your reasons for applying for the Scholarship, explaining how you would expect to benefit from the opportunities the award provides, and describing how you think you might contribute to the community on the dual degree while studying at both the University of St Andrews and the College of William & Mary.
