Four scholarships offering a 50% reduction on full tuition fees are available to exceptionally talented international students paying international tuition fee rates who will be starting their full-time undergraduate studies on an eligible programme at Queen’s University Belfast.
A 50% reduction on full tuition fees paid for all years of the programme, up to a maximum of four years (including advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3) will be offered to the successful candidate who will be studying one the following programmes: BSc Actuarial Science and Risk Management; BSc Biochemistry; BSc Biological Science; BSc Biomedical Science; BEng Chemical Engineering; BSc Chemistry; BSc Data Science; BSc Food Science & Nutrition; LLB Law; LLB Law Senior Status; MLibArts Liberal Arts; BSc Mathematics; BSc Pharmaceutical Biotechnology; BSc Physics. Applicants can only apply and be considered for the Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship-Undergraduate after they have been offered a place to study on one of the programmes listed above and confirmed Queen’s University Belfast as their FIRM choice by their UCAS deadline. Applications cannot be considered in advance of applicants meeting these two criteria.

To apply for the Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship you must submit a short video and complete the online application form.
Only those applicants who meet the criteria for the award as detailed in the terms and conditions will be able to complete the online application.
This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful. The successful candidates will be contacted in the first instance by telephone, if you have not been contacted you may assume you have been unsuccessful.
Applicants who change their original programme choice after the scholarship deadline 15:00 BST 7 June 2024 will not be considered.
To be eligible for the scholarship applicants must complete the online application form and submit a video as detailed on the application form within the deadline, 15:00 BST 7 June 2024.
