Amazing
University of California LA was amazing. It has a great reputation and was affordable. The campus is beautiful and so are the people. There's a nice balance between the school life and the social life. It is large, so don't think anyone will hold your hand and help you through. Take advantage of what University of California LA has to offer, and your opportunities will be endless.

Offers a lot
University of California LA offers a fine example of what a university should be. Anyway, to sum it up: University of California LA offers a lot, spoon feeds little.

Preparation for life
I did not go to University of California LA for job preparation. It prepared me for "life", but it helped me to understand things in a holistic sense....and I feel I have a better understanding of how the world operates economically/ socially/ historically than the average person....it has always been difficult for me to quantify this. Once you understand the past the present makes sense.

Plenty of opportunities
UCLA is a great school if you know how to put the work in, and where it stops.

College is what you make it to be
College is what you make it to be. If I were to do it again, I would choose UCLA but try to be more involved (and probably live on campus) and more active. Even though I was a partial hermit those 4.5 years, I met friends and mentors whom I cherish, I gained experiences that defines me and above all, I got out with a degree!

Exceptional University
My experience at UCLA, like many other students who have and will attend this exceptional University, was unique and wonderful. With the wide variety of academics and extracurricular activities (theater, student council, the fraternity system, Education Abroad program, sports, etc.) I found what I was looking for. The overall gist of my opinion is that you can find whatever you are looking for at UCLA. As each student is unique and UCLA offers so much, it allows you to "take shape" and find what you're looking for in your college experience.

Amazing diversity
UCLA offers its students an amazing diversity of recreational, athletic, and general health opportunities, and most students take advantage of these. You can't beat the price, convenience, or fun.

Good exposure
I've always liked economics, and UCLA's program has kept that love alive.

Gorgeous!
Academics is just one aspect of UCLA. The social life is great and with Westwood just nearby, there is always something to do.

The campus is beautiful, the social scene exciting, and the city of Los Angeles is awesome.
